We encourage new entrants into the world of career development and help them get qualified to provide careers education, information, advice and guidance. We set standards for professional practice, including the CDI Code of Ethics, which are recognised by government, and provide resources and training for our members to continually develop.

CDI Academy
The CDI Academy offers a range of courses to suit individuals and organisations. These include the full Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development, Level 6 Careers Leadership and a bespoke course in SEND.
