Quality assurance of career development interventions
The CDI developed a framework and guidance for careers services and individuals to quality assure their career development interventions. This enables career development professions, supporting young people and adults, to ensure they provide high quality support.
Quality in Careers Standard
Funded by the Department for Education (DfE), the Quality in Careers Standard is the primary quality mechanism for schools and colleges in England, and is also used by some institutions in Wales and Northern Ireland. It is managed by the Quality in Careers Consortium, of which the CDI is a member.
matrix Standard
The matric Standard is also funded by the DfE and is a broader quality system for any organisations that offer information, advice and guidance – from Citizens Advice to career development.
