About "Focus areas"
This area references research into important groups where there has been specific attention due to particular circumstances and needs. These are often defined at the intersection of a life-stage (e.g. "secondary school") and personal characteristics (e.g. "autism", "migrant") as well as, sometimes, particular circumstances or barriers (e.g. a "career shock").
The multiple dimensions mean that there are a very large number of possible combinations of these groups.
Below, we have collected resources for some of the key groups of particular interest in CEIAG research in recent times, and will seek to build this resource over time to review more.
NB: We also welcome subject-matter experts and researchers contributing to this resource, so please contact if you would like to complete a review for these areas if its within your area of expertise/research interests..
