Decent work – usually referred to as ‘fair work’ in Scotland -  refers to work which is productive, fair and secure. It is recognised by the International Labour Organization as a basic human right, and is key for ensuring worker wellbeing and quality of life. This session will introduce the concept of decent work, challenges to it, and how it links with career development.
